WE LOVE FENCING.

We believe fencing is undeniably cool. The swords. The technicality. The look.

It’s inventive, timeless, and a full body workout with a skill ceiling hard to find anywhere else. So don’t let anywhere else get in the way…

Come to Melbourne Historical Fencing; it’s just a tram away in the heart of Melbourne.

HOW DO I START?

Our first time trying fencing was awesome. And we remember what it was like to be totally new.

Bring a water bottle, some comfy sporty clothes and we’ll provide masks, swords and enough instruction for you to dive straight into fencing and explore everything the sport can offer.

Before coming in for your first visit, new or experienced, please take the time to fill out a waiver.

A TYPICAL SESSION

1 Hour Instructed Lesson + 1 Hour Sparring

Fencing sessions are run by our world class instructors Woody & Habibi. They oversee the session to maximise the time spent fencing.

Coaching varies night to night with a focus on questions raised from the session’s sparring, or direct questions you may have on technical aspects in fencing.

Each session should help you better understand the game so you can fence with more consideration, tactical depth, and excitement!
